A tale of two cities, and the beauty in-between.

What is The Peak Divide?

by GEORGE P.

The Peak Divide is NOT a race, it’s an adventure for the ultra-curious; anyone who has wondered what big days outdoors might be like, in good company.

A 76km social, supported trail run across the UK’s first National Park. Manchester to Sheffield, on foot.

There are two events in 2025:

1. The CLASSIC 26-27.04 - a 76km social run, split across two days with a night camping in Edale.

2. The ONEr 04.10 is the full 76km in reverse, Sheffield to Manchester - all in one day.
Tickets still available on the PD website↗

Read on to hear about how 3000+ biscuits & 100L of tea went down at The Peak Divide Classic this year.

SUMS AT PEAK DIVIDE:
expect spillages

While many of you pounded the tarmac at London Marathon, we danced through the high moorland of the Peak District.

We served up the finest socks and 100L of Yorkshire tea, accompanied by the biggest selection of biscuits PD is yet to encounter (all whilst navigating the route ourselves).

The Peak Divide Classic '25 was one of the best trail running events we've had the pleasure of experiencing.

There are still spaces avaliable for The Peak Divide ONEr (04.10) this year - the full 76km in reverse from Sheffield to Manchester.

Tickets for the Classic 2026 coming soon.
