Controlling the controllables becomes paramount for those looking to finish (let alone podium) in this unruly race. And that's exactly where our conversation began with Tom early this year. Despite testing multiple running socks from a variety of brands, he felt he was yet to find a pair he could fully trust - a pair he would bet his UTMB race day on. And so began a 6-month process to see if we could create something special together.

After months of edits, iterations and test mileage, Tom was ready to put them through their first race - Lavaredo Ultra Trail (120km). We were delighted with how they performed which, after a few minor adjustments, we arrived on the final version of the ASCENDERS.

There are three colour ways, with grip pads added to the solid black pair for those taking on those big climbs and steep descents. The camouflage designs are a nod to Tom's service in the military, socks that connect to his signature salute on the finish line. We hope they take you on some wild trail adventures of your own.
