MONTHLY FUNDRAISER SELECTION TERMS

1. Overview

At the end of each calendar month, SUMS will donate the total value of all Earn-Per-Run match-donations collected during that month to one selected participant (the “Selected Runner”).

The donation will be made directly to the Selected Runner’s active fundraising page in support of their chosen cause.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for selection, participants must:

> Be an active Earn-Per-Run member with a connected Strava account.

> Have completed a personal running challenge recorded on Strava.

> Have a live public fundraising page linked to a legitimate charitable cause (legal charity number required).

> Have raised a minimum of £500 on that fundraising page prior to application.

Participants must submit their challenge and fundraising details via the official SUMS online application form (sumsclub.co.uk/pages/earn-per-run).

Applications submitted via any other means will not be considered.

3. Application Process

The application form is available on the SUMS website at here.

Applications must be submitted before 11:59 PM (GMT) on the final day of the month to be eligible for that month’s selection.

Incomplete or unverifiable applications will not be considered.

4. Selection Process

One eligible participant will be chosen at random at the end of each month.

Selection will be conducted internally by SUMS using a randomised draw process.

The decision is final and not subject to appeal or correspondence.

5. Donation Delivery

The total donation amount equals the sum of all Earn-Per-Run match-donations generated by SUMS customers during that calendar month.

SUMS will make the donation directly to the verified fundraising page of the selected participant, hosted on a recognised donation platform (e.g., JustGiving, GoFundMe, etc.). 

No cash or store credit alternative will be offered.

Donation made by the end of the following month. 

6. Public Announcement

SUMS may publicly announce the Selected Runner and their cause through official communication channels, including social media, newsletters, or the SUMS website.

By entering, participants consent to SUMS sharing their name, challenge details, and fundraising link for the purpose of transparency and community engagement.

7. General Conditions

SUMS reserves the right to verify eligibility and authenticity of challenges or fundraising pages.

SUMS may withhold or reallocate the donation if fraudulent, misleading, or incomplete information is discovered.

SUMS reserves the right to amend or suspend the Monthly Runner Selection process at any time.
